A delicate aroma and soft flavor come not only from aging in oak barrels, but from the geography of the Minou Distillery’s storehouse in a forest at the foot of the Mino Mountains, where protection from direct sunlight and mountain breezes act as a natural cooler. This special bottle features an image from famed manga artist Hisashi Eguchi that evokes the spirit of Beniotome’s female founder. This shochu rewards creativity. Sub it for sake in dashiwari or drop some gari in a Beniotome highball.
